Perceive a given universe
This universe may be our whole universe or a restricted one.
Associate and record
Data from sensors is combined and recorded. Both chronology and topology leave a track within these records.
Rate schemes
Pre-existing rules provide rating scales for every association of events. Each memorized scheme is rated according to these rules.
Reuse successful schemes
Each new event, or association of several new events is compared to previous associations. The best fitting scheme is retrieved from these previous associations. The completion of this scheme leads to a prediction. If this prediction comes true, then the ranking of this successful scheme increases: it will have more chances to be selected again next time.
highlight exceptions from previous records
Each new event is compared to past schemes. If this scheme doesn't provide a good prediction, then the new event is highlighted as an exception. It becomes a candidate to a new refined scheme... This new scheme will become stronger if validated further more by a future experience.
Build concepts
| |
Every scheme shall be associated to another one, from very elementary events to complex abstractions. A concept may be interpreted as a privileged path. All around a concept, a cluster of exceptions and refined concepts lead to more specific or appropriate schemes.
Act on the universe
From perception to action, the loop is closed. The whole process shall lead to an interaction with the perceived universe.
